It was born in 1967 with revelers from the Mozárabes troupe. Among its members was “the maestro”, José María Ferrero, who dedicated the Moorish march “Saudites” to the troupe.

The original clothing has practically not changed, with its stately gesture that faithfully imitates the Arabs and Bedouins of the desert themselves, as well as its elegance and austerity. In 1981 the colors of the coat changed from ivory and gold to gold and black, maintaining the white tunic with gold trim and the original Saudi turban.

The daily clothing consists of a gray djellaba with red cord, the same color as the Fez hat.
